I'm Katrine, my regular username is admiralmeep.
I'm a college aged, jack of all trades, CDL Class A Licensed, TWIC Holder. I enjoy trains, trucks, music, and video games.
I do a variety of things online. Anything from making things to spinin music.

I have previous experience working in Voluntary Community Access Television, with 5+ years experience doing a variety of roles; Director, Cameraman, Graphics Operator, Field Light Tech. In addition, I've worked in Small Parcel Delivery at a Parcel Delivery Service, with 2 years experience unloading trailers, loading package vehicles, and performing yard duties.
I currently work in airline catering as a driver.
A hobbyist photographer of 10+ years.

Why do I use an anime character online?
Why do I use an anime character online?
Some people may be wondering why there's no photo of me on my official site, Deviantart, and just about anywhere else on the internet. This is for a couple reasons.
Primarily, I don't like cameras. I don't like my picture being taken, and even CCTV has me shy.
On top of that, its for OPSEC (operational security). Due to the industries I tend to work around, I am a risk for foreign targeting. The less of me there is on the internet, the better.
Finally, its who I want to present as online. Its like wearing your favourite clothes, or choosing to wear the purple hoodie instead of that nice pink one your grandmother got you for your birthday last year (wear it, she means well). I've customized my avatar to me, everything on the hoodie has a meaning, and a reason. Even the fish and glasses have a personal touch.
Those are some of the reasons I choose not to post pictures of myself online. Though definitely not limited to those reasons.
